How to let your mods control your stream overlays
With BSplanet Magnets, your moderators can move images, GIFs, text, and drawings onto your stream from a shared web lobby. You add a browser source to OBS, invite your mods, and they control the overlay while you keep streaming.
What can moderators control?
Magnets acts like a shared refrigerator door for your stream. Your invited users can place magnets on the canvas, move them around, and adjust their size and rotation. Available features depend on your subscription plan.
- Images and GIFs: add visual reactions and move them into position.
- Text: put messages on the stream as movable magnets.
- Drawings: draw together on the shared canvas.
- Audio and video: use media magnets with the controls available in your plan.
This gives your mods control of the Magnets overlay. They do not need remote desktop access to your computer. OBS scene switching and general computer controls are separate from Magnets.
Connect your shared lobby to OBS
- Create your account and choose a plan. Open Magnets subscriptions to compare features.
- Set up your streamer settings. Configure your channel and copy your private Browser Source URL.
- Add a Browser Source in OBS. Paste the URL, custom CSS, width, and height from Streamer Settings. Place the source above the content you want magnets to appear over.
- Invite your moderators. Have them create BSplanet accounts, then add their usernames through your lobby controls.
- Try it before going live. Ask a mod to move a magnet onto the canvas and confirm it appears in your OBS preview.

Can my mods put stickers on my face?
Yes. Premium includes the Magnets Face Tracking OBS Plugin (Beta) for OBS Studio on Windows x64. Moderators can place image and text magnets on the face guide or draw directly on it. The plugin makes those stickers follow your face as you move and turn your head.
Face tracking requires the plugin in addition to your website lobby. It is not supported in Streamlabs or on macOS. See the face tracking installation instructions.
Who gets access to the overlay?
You choose which users can join your lobby through Streamer Settings. Invite the people you want controlling your overlay, and keep your private Browser Source URL private. See how to invite moderators.
Do my moderators need the OBS plugin?
Your moderators use the website lobby. The streamer installs the face tracking plugin on the PC running OBS Studio. For regular canvas magnets, the streamer uses a browser source.
